چکیده
In this article, we present a low-power digital phase-locked loop (PLL)-based phase modulator targeting low error vector magnitude (EVM). We introduce new non-uniform clock compensation (NUCC) scheme to tackle an EVM degradation resulting from the beneficial use of time-varying sampling that is re-timed phase-modulated carrier. also employ phase-domain predistortion (DPD) combat intrinsic non-linearity LC-type digitally controlled oscillator (DCO), thus avoiding complications frequency-dependent calibrations. The prototype, implemented in 40-nm CMOS, modulates carrier range 2.7–3.9 GHz 40-MHz reference. measured $-$ 47 dB for 60-Mb/s 64-PSK modulation under case output frequency-divided by notation="LaTeX">$K=8$ , i.e., when DCO exhibits most significant due large fractional FM bandwidth. When or 4, remains below 43 across carrier-frequency tuning and without re-calibrating non-linearity.

A Non-sequential Phase Detector for PLL-based High-Speed Data/Clock Recovery
* This work was supported, in part, by Texas Instruments Inc., RocketChips Inc. and the R. J. Carver trust. Abstract – The Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) is a widely used block in data and clock recovery circuits. Phase detectors form a crucial part of the PLL. The requirements for phase detectors used in random data recovery are more stringent than the one used for clock recovery, especially at highs...

abstract type-ii fuzzy logic has shown its superiority over traditional fuzzy logic when dealing with uncertainty. type-ii fuzzy logic controllers are however newer and more promising approaches that have been recently applied to various fields due to their significant contribution especially when the noise (as an important instance of uncertainty) emerges. during the design of type- i fuz...

Displacement finite element models of various beam theories have been developed traditionally using conventional finite element basis functions (i.e., cubic Hermite, equi-spaced Lagrange interpolation functions, or spectral/hp Legendre functions). Various finite element models of beams differ from each other in the choice of the interpolation functions used for the transverse deflection w, tota...
متن کاملNon-linearity and Non-Gaussianity through Phase Information
In the standard picture of structure formation, initially random-phase fluctuations are amplified by non-linear gravitational instability to produce a final distribution of mass which is highly non-Gaussian and has highly coupled Fourier phases. Second-order statistics, such as the power spectrum, are blind to this kind of phase association. We discuss the information contained in the phases of...
